About SOMA

A Practice Built on Depth, Integrity, and the Science of Healing

About SOMA

SOMA Trauma Healing Center is a virtual group practice dedicated to trauma healing through integrative, neuro-informed, and somatic care. We meet clients where they are, physically and emotionally, offering specialized therapy that honors the body's wisdom, the brain's capacity for change, and the whole person behind every story.

The name SOMA is intentional. In clinical and philosophical tradition, soma refers to the living body as distinct from the mind — a recognition that healing is never purely cognitive. It is felt, processed, and integrated through the full architecture of the human system.

SOMA serves adults navigating the lasting effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, narcissistic abuse, life transitions, and a range of other complex human experiences. We offer virtual care across Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico.

Our Clinical Commitments

What We Stand For

Trauma-Informed

Every interaction at SOMA is governed by an understanding of how trauma shapes perception, behavior, and physiology. We do not pathologize responses. We contextualize them.

Neuro-Informed

Clinical work at SOMA is rooted in contemporary neuroscience. We track nervous system states, work within windows of tolerance, and understand the brain's documented capacity for structural change.

Somatically Integrated

Healing is not purely cognitive. The body carries the memory of experience, and any complete therapeutic approach must include the body as an active participant in recovery.

Culturally Responsive

We provide care that is deeply respectful of each person's cultural identity, background, and lived experience. Representation and responsiveness are non-negotiable.

"You are not too much. You are not alone. Healing is possible."
