The contact form and email addresses on this site are for general inquiries and scheduling only. Information submitted through this website does not create a therapist-client relationship and does not become part of any clinical record. Please do not include sensitive clinical details, medical history, or emergency information in website forms.

Information We Collect
Contact form. When you submit the inquiry form we receive your name, email address, phone number (optional), the state you live in, the type of inquiry, and your message. This is sent to our practice inbox so we can respond. It is not stored in a database on this website.
Guide and email signups. When you request one of our free guides, we collect your first name and email address, along with the topic you requested, so we can deliver the guide and related educational emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics does not run unless you accept it through our cookie banner. See our Cookies Policy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
How We Use Information
We use website information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, deliver requested guides and educational emails, improve the website, and protect it from abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Who Processes Data on Our Behalf
We use a small number of service providers:
- Paubox, HIPAA-compliant email infrastructure used for our email communications and guide delivery.
- Google Analytics, website usage measurement, only after you consent.
- Hostinger, website hosting and server logs.
Retention
Inquiry emails are retained in our practice inbox for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted in periodic reviews. Email list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (14 months). Server logs rotate automatically.
Your Rights & Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you from this website. Email connect@somatrauma.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" link in the footer, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner where relevant.
