SOMA Trauma Healing Center is located at 338 Minorca Ave, Suite 202, Coral Gables, FL 33134, in the heart of historic downtown Coral Gables, a short walk from Miracle Mile, the Coral Gables City Hall, and the Coral Gables Museum.
Founded in 1925 by George Merrick, Coral Gables is one of the country's first planned communities and retains its Mediterranean Revival architecture, tree-lined boulevards, and slower, more contained pace. Our office sits within that fabric, a private, contained, intentionally quiet space designed for the slower work that trauma therapy requires.
Clients come to us from across Miami-Dade County and the wider South Florida area, Coconut Grove, Brickell, Pinecrest, South Miami, Kendall, Doral, and beyond. We also see clients virtually for residents of Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico.

What should I expect on my first visit to the Coral Gables office?
Plan to arrive five to ten minutes early so you can settle into the waiting space. Your first session is a clinical assessment, we discuss what brought you in, your history, and your goals. You do not need to have your story "ready." We meet you exactly where you are, paced by your nervous system.
Is SOMA a private-pay practice?
Yes. SOMA Trauma Healing Center is private-pay and considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA payments. Current rates are shared during the consultation process.
